Mikis Theodorakis Popular Orchestra
Two special, and at the same time different, worlds of musical creation meet at the stage of Olympia City Music Theatre. The one of the leader of rebetiko, Vassilis Tsitsanis, with the one of the worldwide distinguished Mikis Theodorakis. The all-time-classic songs by the two composers have already, and since a long time, gained a safe position in our memories as well as our hearts. Both artists served popular music of our country with talent, each one in his own way, and with the musical tools of his own. But their different popular musical ways of thinking meet at some point. The songs of Vassilis Tsitsanis and Mikis Theodorakis crombined create an enchanting mosaic of music, a special programme to listen to, which can cause euphoria and at the same time move you.
