City of Athens Symphony Orchestra
The Symphonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens presents works by two of the most important figures of Russian Music of the 20th Century: the “Festive Ouverture” by Dmitri Shostakovich and “Symphony No. 5” by Sergei Prokofiev. The programme is completed with the Concert for piano and orchestra written by George Dousis, one of the most active Greek composers which is being presented in its first interpretation worldwide.
